A classic piece of Danish studio pottery with a strong presence. This stoneware vase by Lehmann features a rich dark clay base, overlaid with hand-applied abstract relief motifs in creamy white glaze. The form is compact yet bold, with a narrow neck and rounded base that balances its decorative surface with quiet weight.
A great example of the Denmark’s modernist ceramic movement: expressive in earthy tones and rooted in organic simplicity. The incised LEHMANN DENMARK stamp on the base confirms the maker. A beautiful standalone piece, or an easy addition to any bookshelf or sideboard arrangement.
