Fruit Market is a curated vintage store based in Karjaa, Finland, offering an eclectic mix of tableware, ceramics, home decor, art, books, collectibles, clothing, and accessories.
Founded in 2023 by a married couple with a passion for vintage, Fruit Market grew from years of collecting, curating, and slowly running out of shelf space. What began as a personal love for beautiful, well-made things evolved into a shop rooted in quality, sustainability, and curiosity.
The selection moves between Finnish functionalism, Nordic craftsmanship, mid-century, art deco, space age, and postmodern styles - with the occasional detour into the unexpected. Art and design sit at the heart of it all. Some pieces are signed, others anonymous, but each one is chosen for its form, character, and how it holds up over time.
Fruit Market is driven by a deep respect for things that were made to last, and a desire to preserve and share them. The thrill of the hunt is only half the story. The other half is the research, the rediscovery, and the satisfaction of placing something special into the hands of someone who just gets it - whether it’s the look, the feel, or the story behind it.

Our items
Most of what we sell is original vintage, chosen for its quality, character, and design value. Alongside that, you may also find discontinued contemporary pieces, studio-made objects, or one-off finds we simply felt were worth bringing in.
Each item is researched and checked before it reaches the webstore. We aim to describe everything as accurately as possible, and we’re always happy to share what we know - whether it’s about origin, designer, or small details you might be curious about.
All pieces are sold in their current condition, with signs of age and use. This can include patina, wear, fading, or small irregularities from production. These traces are part of what makes each piece what it is, and often add to its character over time.
We photograph and describe each item as clearly as we can, so you know what you’re getting. If anything feels unclear, just reach out - we’re happy to help.

You’ll find us at Måll, right on Karjaa’s main street, just two blocks from the train station. We share a 1,000 m² space with our friends at Roomage - filled with vintage furniture, lighting, mirrors, rugs, tableware, ceramics, books, and art. Plenty to explore, whether you’re looking for something specific or just seeing what catches your eye.
Karjaa is an easy day trip from Helsinki or Turku - about an hour away, with smooth connections by train or bus. A good reason to spend a day in Raasepori while you’re at it - Billnäs is just two kilometres down the road, close enough to walk to, with Fiskars and Tammisaari an easy bike ride away.
