About us

Fruit Market is a curated vintage store based in Karjaa, Finland, offering an eclectic mix of tableware, ceramics, home decor, art, books, collectibles, clothing, and accessories.

Founded in 2023 by a married couple with a passion for vintage, Fruit Market grew from years of collecting, curating, and running out of shelf space. What began as a personal love for beautiful, well-made things evolved into a shop rooted in quality, sustainability, and curiosity.

The selection spans Finnish functionalism, Nordic craftsmanship, Mid-Century Modern, Art Deco, Space Age, and Post-Modern styles — with occasional detours into the unexpected. Art and design are at the heart of it all: whether it’s a hand-thrown ceramic vase, a graphic 1960's print, or an anonymous object with sculptural appeal, each piece is chosen with an eye for form, character, and lasting value.

Fruit Market is driven by a deep respect for things that were made to last — and a desire to preserve and share them. The thrill of the hunt is only half the story; the other half is the research, the rediscovery, and the quiet satisfaction of placing something special into the hands of someone who truly gets it.
