How can I contact you?
Easiest way is to email us at hello@fruitmarket.fi or send us a DM on Instagram. Whether it’s a question about an item, a delivery, or something you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Are your items real vintage?
Yes, everything is original vintage – no vintage-style, vintage-inspired or modern reproductions. We focus on authentic, high quality pieces made to last.

How old are your items?
Most of what we sell was made between the 1930's and late 1990's, with a strong focus on the post-war period and mid-century decades — especially the 1950's to 1980's. We do make exceptions for newer or older pieces if the design, quality, or story feels right. When we know the production period, we always include it in the item listing. 

What condition are the items in?
Everything we sell is carefully chosen and in good, very good or excellent vintage condition. We clean and check every piece before it hits the shop, and we always mention and photograph visible wear. We’re into patina, but not damage.

Can I buy just one cup or plate from a set?
Online, we sell tableware and glassware mainly as sets — not as individual pieces. The sets are carefully matched, often from the same production batch, and usually a bit special or rare, so we like to keep them together. But! In our Karjaa store, we sell plenty of individual pieces — in fact, we have an 8-meter shelf completely filled with dishware, all available by the piece. If you're looking for something specific, feel free to drop us a message. We might just have it in the shop, even if it’s not online.

Where do you find your items?
We look everywhere – and we mean everywhere. It’s part instinct, part obsession, part knowing where to look and when to dig. No single source – just years of experience, curiosity, and a lot of hours on the road. 

Do you have the same selection online and in the store?
Nope – our store space in Karjaa is HUGE, and there’s way more available there than we could ever list online. But we do post many of our favorite and rare pieces on the webshop first, so keep an eye out. 

Can I reserve an item?
We don’t usually do reservations for webshop items, but feel free to reach out. If it’s a quick hold or you’re picking up soon, we might be able to help.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, and UnionPay. You can also pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Shop Pay at checkout. Prefer to pay by invoice or MobilePay? Just contact us before placing your order — we’re happy to arrange it.

Is it safe to buy fragile items online?
Don't worry - we pack like the pros we are. Every fragile item is carefully wrapped, cushioned, and boxed to handle the trip (and we’re not shy about double-boxing when needed). We’ve shipped delicate ceramics and glass all over Finland, and so far, every single package has arrived safely.

Why can't I see the shipping cost at checkout?
If shipping isn’t showing, it’s probably because the item is a large piece of furniture or artwork. For now, we only offer local delivery or pick-up for those. Feel free to get in touch — we’re happy to check what’s possible and find a solution that works. 

Do you offer free local delivery?
We offer free doorstep delivery for larger items (mainly furniture and artwork) to certain locations. Details vary by piece — you’ll find all the info on the individual product pages. If you're unsure or want to check delivery options before ordering, just get in touch.

Can I pick up my order in person?
Absolutely. Just choose “Free pick-up” at checkout and select Karjaa or Helsinki as your location. See further details on Shipping, delivery & pick-up.

Can I return an item?
Yes. Webshop orders can be returned within 14 days if the item is in original condition. See further details on Returns & refunds.

Can you help me find something specific?
Maybe! We love a good vintage hunt, but some things are harder to find than others. If you're looking for something particular, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Can I offer something for you to buy?
Yes, absolutely. If you have something you think we’d be interested in, send us an email or DM with photos and a short description. We’re happy to take a look.
