A compact rattan tray with a deep red base. The natural rim is wrapped and joined by hand, giving it a warm, crafted feel, while the coloured base adds a bold, graphic edge.
Made in the Nordic region during the mid-century era, trays like this brought a touch of everyday design into the home. This one has a faint stamp on the underside, though the manufacturer is not identified.
In original vintage condition with visible signs of age: the linoleum-like base shows some wear and a little lifting at the edges where the old glue has dried. You could re-line it for a cleaner look, but we’d happily keep it as is — part of the tray’s history and not something that affects use. Either way, the choice is yours. The tray itself is structurally solid and ready for many more years of service.
Perfect for serving drinks or snacks, or as a small accent piece on a coffee table or shelf.
