Vintage Punch Bowl & Ladle by Humppila - Finland, 1970s

A sculptural vintage punch bowl and matching ladle from Humppila’s Talonpoika series, designed by Pertti Santalahti in the 1970s. We love the simple rounded form! Made from clear bubble glass — known in Finnish as rakkolasi — the surface is filled with tiny air pockets that catch and scatter light, giving the glass an organic texture.

This is Finnish modernism at its most inviting: functional, expressive, and quietly bold. The Talonpoika series (Finnish for “Farmer”) was part of Humppila’s push toward more sculptural, handcrafted glassware during the 1970s, and this set is a standout example.

Perfect for serving punch or sangria, but also works beautifully as a fruit bowl. In great condition, with the original Humppila sticker.
