This sculptural silver brooch is compact but full of presence. Softly curved edges frame an almost shell-like form, with a bright stone and a textured interior that contrasts beautifully with the smoother outer surface. The shape feels organic and gently shaped by hand.
The brooch is stamped Stigbert 925, linking it to Ateljé Stigbert, the Stockholm-based jewellery atelier founded by goldsmith Stig Engelbert. Stigbert is best known for modernist silver jewellery from the mid-20th century, often favouring sculptural forms and expressive surfaces over decoration.
A quietly charismatic piece that works just as well pinned to a knit, a coat lapel, or a crisp shirt - understated and unmistakably modernist.
