A true still life in wood. This beautifully handcrafted vintage fruit set includes five different fruits — pear, apple, banana, plum, and pineapple — turned and carved from various hardwoods in warm, natural tones. The mix of smooth curves and sculptural forms feels both playful and intentional, especially with the jagged pineapple leaves bringing in a little flair. All five pieces rest on a hand-shaped oval bowl, sold as a complete set.
Likely made in the 1960s or 70s, this type of decorative fruit was a mid-century favourite, but this particular set feels especially refined. The workmanship is detailed, the selection is cohesive, and the condition is lovely throughout. Perfect for fruit lovers and anyone dreaming of a fruit basket that never goes bad.
