A sleek fruit bowl hand-crafted from chrome-plated steel wire. The open loops form a light grid that curves upward with quiet precision and rhythm. Look closely and you’ll see tiny irregularities where the wire bends and joins, proof that this one wasn’t made by a machine alone.
From Finnish and Swedish workshops to Italian design houses, wire objects became a mid-century staple — modern, functional, and made to last. Pieces like this reflect a whole era’s idea of good design: objects stripped to their essentials, honest in both form and material.
