Kaj Franck (1911–1989) is often called the “conscience of Finnish design.” His work for Arabia and Nuutajärvi focused on essential forms, practical materials, and a democratic approach to beauty - objects designed for real life, not display. Many of his mid-century pieces remain design icons today.
