A tall French stoneware vase with a warm ochre glaze and a slightly tapered, architectural profile. The surface carries fine speckling and gentle glaze variation, with subtle shifts in tone that come from the firing rather than decoration. The handle is generously shaped and sits comfortably in the hand, giving the piece a relaxed, well-balanced feel.
This vase has real presence. It works beautifully on the floor, a low table, or a sideboard, either empty or holding a few long branches or dried stems. Like all good stoneware from this period, it was made to be used - solid, practical, and designed to age well. Light wear from decades of use is present and sits naturally with the material.
