A beautiful set of six vintage dessert bowls designed by Saara Hopea for Nuutajärvi in 1956. Made of pressed glass – practical, sturdy, and designed for everyday use. This set includes three bowls in olive green and three in dark amber.
Hopea’s design is timelessly functional, with clean lines and a perfectly balanced form. Easy to stack and versatile in use, they work just as well today as they did in the mid-century. Ideal for ice cream, fruit, or snacks, but also a collectible piece of Finnish design heritage.

NOTE ON THE DESIGNER
Saara Hopea (1925–1984) was a Finnish designer known for her glass and silver work. At Nuutajärvi she created designs that combined modernist simplicity with everyday functionality. Her work has become a cornerstone of Finnish mid-century glass design, appreciated by collectors worldwide.
