Handmade in Posio in the 1970s, this Pentik candle holder features a soft white glaze with fine brown speckles - the same glaze seen in early Halla and Riekko series. The flared pedestal form gives it a balanced, modernist look, while the hand-thrown texture keeps it grounded in Pentik’s craft roots. Stamped on the base with the original Pentik logo.
Early Pentik at its best: small-batch, handmade, and beautifully functional. Works just as well on a dining table as it does on a sideboard or grouped with lower pieces for a quiet, graphic arrangement. The speckled white glaze catches light softly, making it a versatile fit in both modern and classic interiors.

NOTE ON THE MAKER
Pentik was founded in 1971 by Anu and Topi Pentikäinen in Posio, Finnish Lapland. What began as a small ceramics workshop soon grew into an emblem of Finnish design – known for its earthy glazes, organic shapes, and dedication to handmade quality. Early Pentik production was entirely local and small-scale, with a distinct blend of modernist form and Nordic craft tradition.
