Handmade in Posio in the 1970s, this candle holder comes in a very rare darker glaze variant, shifting from deep brown to mossy green with natural, uneven transitions typical of early Pentik production. Each piece was finished by hand, giving subtle differences in tone and texture - a hallmark of the brand’s early Lapland studio work. We also love the original logo stamped on the base.
Early Pentik at its best: small-batch, handmade, and beautifully functional. Compact yet substantial, it can be used alone or paired with other Pentik candle holders for a layered, softly modern look.

NOTE ON THE MAKER
Pentik was founded in 1971 by Anu and Topi Pentikäinen in Posio, Finnish Lapland. What began as a small ceramics workshop soon grew into an emblem of Finnish design – known for its earthy glazes, organic shapes, and dedication to handmade quality. Early Pentik production was entirely local and small-scale, with a distinct blend of modernist form and Nordic craft tradition.
