A dark-toned stoneware vase with a strong, graphic rhythm. The ribbed surface catches light softly, while the deep glaze shifts between earthy brown and muted blue. A versatile form that works equally well as a vase or as a small planter.
Made at Arabia in the 1960s, this piece reflects the studio’s modernist approach to stoneware: functional, minimal, and made to last. Subtle irregularities in the glaze add to its character, including a small glaze miss at the rim.
