A sculptural amber glass basket by Riihimäen Lasi, with a beautifully rippled body and an elegantly pulled handle rising from the rim. The glass shifts from warm honey to deeper amber at the base.
The form is playful but controlled - part vessel, part object - with a strong mid-century feel typical of Finnish studio glass from the 1960s.
Perfect as a decorative object on its own, or used to hold fruit, small objects, or nothing at all. This is the kind of piece that brings warmth and movement to a shelf, sideboard, or dining table - and a nice gift for anyone drawn to Nordic glass with character and presence.
