A warm-toned vintage tray handcrafted from bamboo and rattan, elevated on small rounded feet. The shape is beautifully simple — gently curved and rectangular — with a nice balance of function and flair. The mix of smooth and knotted textures gives it depth and subtle movement.
This kind of handcrafted bamboo tray was popular across Europe in the 60's and 70's, especially in Scandinavian homes featuring natural materials and organic surfaces. This one was likely made in Sweden or Denmark. A perfect example of everyday craftsmanship that holds its own as a design object.
Sturdy enough to serve snacks in bed, and just as striking used as a catchall on a console or dining table. Lightweight but durable, it brings warmth and visual rhythm to any setting. We adore the honey-toned patina only time can create.

Many vintage items also carry production marks from the manufacturing methods of their time. These traces are part of what makes each piece what it is, and add to its character over time.
We photograph and describe everything as clearly as we can, so you know what you’re getting. Please take a moment to review the photos and description before ordering. If anything feels unclear, just reach out - we’re happy to help.
