This vintage sculpture by ceramic artist Tiiu-Maret Lass is a lovely example of her 1960’s work often featuring graphic, even geometric ornaments. Unglazed off-white earthenware with handpainted details in glossy black and brown. Very demure, very mid-century modern. Made in Estonia in the 1960's. Sturdy, heavy, beautiful little piece of ceramic art. Can also be used as a candle holder. In very good vintage condition, some small (barely visible) chips on bottom. Height 17 cm NOTE ON THE DESIGNER: Tiiu-Maret Lass was born in 1934 in Estonia, where she studied studio pottery and ended up working as a industrial designer and art teacher before going back to her main thing, ceramic art.

We ship mostly with the Finnish Post Office, but please contact us if you prefer another option.

Pick up your order from our pick-up point at Nomen Nescio during their opening hours. We deliver orders to Helsinki every Monday, so your order will be ready for pick-up at 15:00 on the next Monday after we've received your order. Orders placed on Sunday before 18:00 can be delivered to our pick-up point during the next day.
