An elegant and expressive studio pottery bowl, hand-thrown and signed with a stamp that reads "KM" — likely the mark of a small ceramics studio or individual maker. The glaze is particularly beautiful: deep, glossy brown over an earthy base, with a bold radial pattern that feels somewhere between woodgrain and abstract brushwork. The form is strong, with a high foot and gently flared lip — simple, functional, but full of presence.
This is the kind of piece we love to find — clearly crafted by a skilled hand, and signed, but still just under the radar. A great addition to any growing collection of Nordic or European studio ceramics.

NOTE ON STUDIO POTTERY – Studio pottery celebrates the personal, the tactile, and the imperfect. Made in small quantities — often by individual artists or couples working out of home studios — these pieces combine utility with artistic intent. Their collectability has grown steadily, as more people seek meaningful, soulful alternatives to mass production.
