Tall Stoneware Pitcher by Guy Baudat – La Borne, France, 1970s

A tall, grounded pitcher by French ceramicist Guy Baudat, handcrafted in the famed pottery village of La Borne. The form is clean and confident — narrow neck, flared base, and a handle that feels drawn in one smooth motion. The glaze shifts between warm brown, ash grey, and deep inky flecks. Wheel-thrown in dense stoneware and finished with a wood-fired ash glaze. Signed 'Baudat' near the base.
A stunning, timeless piece of French studio pottery. Use it as a jug, a vase, or just let it stand on its own. Will bring a sense of organic presence to any setting.
