A beautifully balanced glass pitcher designed by Sirkku Kumela-Lehtonen for Kumela in the 1960s. This rare model, number 2102, is made of hand-blown glass with a tall, architectural form and deep violet hue. The narrow neck, wide base, and asymmetric spout create a distinct silhouette that’s both elegant and practical.
This 1-liter pitcher is a striking standalone piece. The generous volume and comfortable pour make it ideal for serving drinks, but it also makes a lovely vase. A lesser-seen example of Kumela’s post-war design language, where functionality meets bold form.
