A hand-thrown set of six vintage plates by Swedish ceramist N. Ingemar Nilsson, made of matte speckled stoneware with a glossy inky blue stripe circling the rim. We love how the glaze shifts subtly with the light - deep blue one moment, almost black the next. All are signed on the base and clearly from the same kiln batch, making this a rare find in both condition and completeness.

This is such a satisfying little set — each plate unique, but clearly made together and signed by hand. They stack beautifully and have that quiet mid-century charm you only get with real studio ceramics. A great find for collectors of Scandinavian pottery, or anyone who loves the calm beauty of well-made things. They're also surprisingly useful — the kind of small plates you’ll reach for every day. Perfect for butter, olives, cake slices, or or whatever deserves its own special dish. And with their Nordic minimalist aesthetic, they fit right into contemporary kitchens too.
