Signed Vintage Creative Kokeshi Doll - Japan, 1960s

A creative kokeshi doll from post-war Japan, carved and painted with a confident, graphic hand. The elongated form is elegant, with a narrow waist and softly weighted base that gives it real presence. We love the geometric patterns that bring rhythm to the surface without feeling decorative.

The doll is signed in Japanese with a hand-brushed inscription and seal mark, pointing to an individual maker rather than workshop production.
