A wild little landscape in ceramic form. This signed studio piece has a flared, organic form with abstract glazing in earthy tones — glossy pale pistachio melting into ochre and dark clay. The surface is lightly textured, and the transitions between glaze and bare clay feel intuitive, almost geological.
Signed “SN” on the base, this piece was likely made in Finland in the 1970's.
