A set of 6 understated vintage side plates designed by Kaarina Aho for Arabia, Finland. The subtle grey glazed rim gives a refined, modernist edge to the otherwise minimal form - classic mid-century Finnish tableware.
Produced in 4/1965, these pieces belong to the FC model series, also designed by Aho. She brought a calm, functional clarity to Arabia's tableware in the 1960's, and these plates are a great example of that: timeless, carefully made, and still effortlessly usable today.
This is one of the most perfect set of little vintage plates we've ever seen! Ideal as bread plates in a lunch or dinner setting.
