Unique Brutalist Copper Lamp by Aimo Tukiainen - Finland, 1960s

A rare, handmade copper lamp by Finnish sculptor Aimo Tukiainen, made sometime in the 1960s–70s. The spherical form is perforated by hand, creating a constellation-like pattern that filters light into warm, organic shapes. The oxidised surface carries deep brown and violet tones, giving the lamp a quietly dramatic presence whether lit or off.

Part sculpture, part light source: this one is brutalist in form, but tender in scale. Works beautifully as an accent light on a shelf, desk, or bedside table, adding warmth and character to any space. Fully functional.
