A modernist classic in an unusually soft violet tone. This early Nanny Still bowl was produced by Riihimäen Lasi between 1954 and 1960 and features a satisfyingly pure form — round, weightless, and deceptively simple with a clean-cut rim and no unnecessary details. Hand-blown in translucent violet glass. Feels both airy and exact. Looks good empty. Even better full.
A rarely seen piece of 1950s glass design, this hand-blown glass bowl is a quietly confident piece of Finnish modernism. Use it as a centerpiece, fruit bowl or serving dish. Can’t really go wrong with this one.
