Architectural and quietly iconic. This clear glass candlestick is part of the Pagoda series designed by Nanny Still for Riihimäen Lasi in the late 1960s. Model no. 1946, produced between 1968 and 1971, features a tiered silhouette of flared rings and tapering base — a rhythmic, almost totem-like form that holds its own even without a candle.
A striking piece of post-war Finnish glass design, equally at home on a brutalist sideboard or a minimal holiday table. Elegant, well-balanced, and satisfying to hold. These aren’t easy to come by, especially in this condition.
