NOTE ON THE ARTIST – Olli Marttila (b. 1948) is a Finnish painter and printmaker known for his stylized still lifes, bold graphic forms, and richly textured surfaces. His work often draws from everyday subjects — jugs, bottles, vessels — but with a sense of abstraction and play. Marttila has exhibited widely across Finland and Europe since the 1970's.
