Bright, bold, and beautifully made — this sculptural glass banana captures the classic Murano flair for color and craftsmanship. Hand-blown in Italy using the sommerso technique, it layers vivid yellow glass inside a clear outer casing for a luminous, juicy finish.
Originally part of a Murano glass fruit collection, these pieces were made as decorative objects in the 1960s–1980s and are now sought after as design curios. This one, made by Nuova Cristalleria Arzanese, is a perfect mix of playful form and refined glasswork - a small slice of authentic Italian modernism for your shelf or table.
