A sculptural piece of Finnish vintage glass. Designed by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäen Lasi, this tall vase is part of her textured glass series, where bold forms meet everyday function. The surface is pressed with a diamond pattern that spirals upward, catching light in all the right ways. We’re especially into the pale yellow tone — it’s both refined and relatively rare.
This is model 1493, produced in the 1960's during a period when Riihimäen Lasi was pushing Finnish glass into more experimental territory. Aladin, one of the factory’s standout designers, had a distinct way of balancing clarity with ornament — never too much, always just right.
