A refined mid-century teak cabinet designed by Bertil Fridhagen and manufactured by Bodafors in Sweden in 1959. This is a beautifully proportioned two-door cabinet with clean lines, solid craftsmanship, and a deep honey-toned teak grain that has aged to perfection. Inside, it’s fitted with a single open shelf and a column of four original brown-painted drawers — an uncommon and highly functional detail that adds a modernist twist to the otherwise restrained design.

Built with care and intended to last, this piece has stood the test of time — both structurally and stylistically. The front is stamped with the Bodafors mark and date, a reassuring hallmark of the high standards the manufacturer was known for. We love the inset legs that give it a lifted, architectural presence, and the edges that are neatly mitred for a crisp, minimalist finish.

Rare to find in this condition — especially with the original drawers intact and such an even, glowing patina to the teak. A well-preserved example of Swedish modernism and craftsmanship at its best.

This timeless cabinet slots effortlessly into both modern and vintage-leaning interiors. Perfect as a sideboard in a dining area or as a media unit, but adaptable enough for any space.
