A beautifully understated studio ceramic covered dish featuring a speckled glaze in grey and tan tones and a graphic hand-painted motif in oxide brushwork. The form feels very satisfying - the lid snugly fits the base, and the proportions are tight and elegant.

Despite its mid-century character, the piece remains versatile today: use it for butter, cheese, small savory dishes, or let it play a sculptural role on a shelf or kitchen counter. Though signed underneath, the mark is very faint and difficult to decipher, which only adds to its studio-pottery mystery.

CONDITION & DETAILS

All items we sell are pre-loved. Most are vintage, which means they’ve been used and have lived through time.

Each piece is sold in its current condition, with signs of age or use such as patina, wear, fading, or small irregularities. Many vintage items also carry production marks from the manufacturing methods of their time. These traces are part of what makes each piece what it is, and add to its character over time.

We photograph and describe everything as clearly as we can, so you know what you’re getting. Please take a moment to review the photos and description before ordering. If anything feels unclear, just reach out - we’re happy to help.
