This beautifully proportioned mid-century stoneware pitcher comes from the renowned Dubois workshops, a family of potters known for their earthy forms and rich glazing techniques. The piece carries both the workshop mark and the artist's signature etched at the base - a sign of pride and craftsmanship. Wheel-thrown and fire-cooked in Bouffioulx, featuring an unglazed exterior and subtly glazed interior.

The tall, clean-lined form and sandy matte finish give it a quietly confident presence — somewhere between utility and sculpture. We love the sharply pulled handle and subtle lip, all carved out with precision but left raw and grounded. Nothing flashy, just a beautifully made piece. Use for serving, or as a vase - or simply let it sit sculpturally on a shelf.

✦ Height 19 cm (Ø 10 cm)
✦ Belgian stoneware, made in Bouffioulx
✦ Earthy glaze with tonal variations
✦ Signed by the artist and Dubois atelier
✦ Period: likely 1950's - 60's
✦ Good vintage condition, light signs of wear consistent with age, small chip on the base rim (see photo)

CONDITION & DETAILS

All items we sell are pre-loved. Most are vintage, which means they’ve been used and have lived through time.

Each piece is sold in its current condition, with signs of age or use such as patina, wear, fading, or small irregularities. Many vintage items also carry production marks from the manufacturing methods of their time. These traces are part of what makes each piece what it is, and add to its character over time.

We photograph and describe everything as clearly as we can, so you know what you’re getting. Please take a moment to review the photos and description before ordering. If anything feels unclear, just reach out - we’re happy to help.
