A black-and-white woodcut print by Ilkka Tarvainen, dated 1980. The bold composition is anchored by a dark, textured circle - sun, moon, or something stranger - set against an abstracted landscape. Raw, graphic and very moody.
Printed in a super small edition (just two copies!) and beautifully framed in a minimal vintage teak frame. Quietly powerful on its own or paired with other works in a gallery wall. We don’t know much about the artist, but what’s clear is this is a seriously cool piece of original graphic art.
