A bold piece of modernist craft - this large square tray is handmade in heavy ceramic, glazed in vivid brown. Its generous size and raised edges give it a quiet architectural presence, while the slightly irregular finish tells of a hand-shaped process rather than factory precision.
Made in the Nordic studio tradition of the 1960s–70s, when small potteries and independent ceramicists were experimenting with form and scale. Though unsigned, the craftsmanship and weight suggest professional origins.
Perfect as a serving tray, a base for displaying objects, or simply as a ceramic statement piece on its own.
