NOTE ON THE DESIGNER - Kaj Franck (1911–1989) was one of the key figures of Finnish design — a true modernist who believed that everyday objects should be both beautiful and useful. His work for Arabia and Nuutajärvi helped shape what we now think of as classic Nordic style: honest, minimal, and made to last.
