Handcrafted and Signed Teak Bowl - Finland, Mid-Century
Handcrafted and Signed Teak Bowl - Finland, Mid-Century

A long, low teak bowl with a calm, balanced presence. The form is pared back and intentional - gently curved, softly tapered at the ends, and beautifully proportioned from every angle. Made and signed on the base by Finnish artisan A. Salonen.
The teak has aged beautifully: warm, reddish-brown tones with a fine, even grain that catches the light along the rim. Slim and low in profile, this is the kind of bowl that works just as well as a centrepiece on a table as it does holding fruit, bread, or small everyday items.
A calm, confident example of Finnish woodcraft, where form, material, and use are kept in careful balance.

CONDITION & DETAILS
All items we sell are pre-loved. Most are vintage, which means they’ve been used and have lived through time.
Each piece is sold in its current condition, with signs of age or use such as patina, wear, fading, or small irregularities. Many vintage items also carry production marks from the manufacturing methods of their time. These traces are part of what makes each piece what it is, and add to its character over time.
We photograph and describe everything as clearly as we can, so you know what you’re getting. Please take a moment to review the photos and description before ordering. If anything feels unclear, just reach out - we’re happy to help.
