Rörstrand “Fokus” Side Plates by Carl-Harry Stålhane - Sweden, 1970s - Set of 10

Classic mid-century graphics at their best. Designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand, the Fokus series brings together Scandinavian precision and warm retro color — crisp white porcelain framed by rings of ochre, rust, and brown. Bold yet effortless, these plates look just as good stacked on a shelf as they do on the table.

Produced in the 1970s, Fokus captures that optimistic Swedish modern spirit: clean form, practical design, and a touch of color that makes everyday dining feel a little special. The warm hues also mix beautifully with other Nordic classics from the era, such as Arabia’s Ruska series.

A full set of ten side plates in very good vintage condition, ready for daily use. Most have a few tiny dark dots in the glaze - part of the original production and likely marking these as second quality. They proved nearly impossible to photograph and honestly don’t bother us, but if you’re after a flawless set, this probably isn’t it.
