A chunky, generously sized art glass apple in deep, glowing red. The body is softly rounded and weighty, finished with applied clear glass leaves and a small amber-yellow stem that adds a quiet flash of warmth. An unsigned, very well made piece of art glass.
Decorative fruit like this was a popular studio form in Scandinavian glassmaking in the 1970s and 1980s: playful, yes, but technically demanding. This one stands out for its scale and calm confidence. Excellent condition throughout.
We don’t see apples like this very often, especially in this size. It brings colour and a bit of charm to a space, with a playful, almost whimsical feel that’s easy to love. A small detail that makes a room feel warmer.
