A bold, weighty glass centerpiece featuring a raised cherry pattern in classic Czech style. Originally designed by Rudolf Schröter in the 1920's for Joseph Inwald Glass, this version was produced in the 1970's by Sklo Union’s Rosice Glassworks using the original mold — this time in clear pressed glass instead of the frosted finish of the earlier Barolac line.

This is a functional design object with sculptural impact. At 23 cm wide and 18 cm tall, it works beautifully as a fruit bowl, serving piece, or simply a stand-alone statement. The clear glass construction makes it easy to style — strong in form, subtle in tone.

NOTE ON THE DESIGNER - Rudolf Schröter (1897–1965) is considered the father of modern Czechoslovakian pressed glass. His designs from the 1920's–30's were groundbreaking, combining functionalist principles with decorative flair. This cherry motif was originally part of the Barolac line by the Inwald Company and remains one of the most recognisable patterns in Czech glass design.
