NOTE ON THE ARTIST - Paul Envalds (b. 1935) was a Latvian-born ceramic artist who worked at Arabia’s art department from the 1960's to 1980's. Known for his minimal yet tactile vessels, Envalds favored wheel-thrown forms and earthy, textured glazes that reflected both Nordic sensibilities and Japanese influences.
