NOTE ON THE ARTIST
Inger Persson (b. 1936) was a key figure in postwar Swedish ceramics, known for her sculptural forms, graphic surfaces, and bold use of colour. At Rörstrand, she worked in the Ateljé department where she created expressive decorative objects and utility ware alike — often featuring stylized animals or people in vibrant glazes and abstracted forms.
