A raw and sculptural silver ring from the golden era of Nordic brutalism. Designed by Gösta Kaplanin 1969 for Ge-Kå-Smycken, this piece sits right at the intersection of art jewelry and wearable statement. Kaplan was part of a generation of Nordic designers in the 1960’s exploring more experimental, almost anti-decorative forms — and this piece is a result of that shift: graphic, expressive and uncompromising.

Made of solid sterling silver and fully marked with Swedish silver hallmarks, it's a small-scale brutalist construction with serious presence. Holds its own solo but also pairs well with a raw silver chain or simple band.

NOTE ON THE DESIGNER – Gösta Kaplan was the founder of Ge-Kå-Smycken, a Swedish jewelry workshop active during the 1960’s and 70’s. His designs often leaned into brutalist and modernist territory, favoring structure over shine. Like many of his Scandinavian contemporaries, Kaplan approached jewelry as wearable sculpture — raw, expressive, and deeply rooted in material.
