Vivid, cheeky, and very hard to miss — this handmade glass banana is a joyfully surreal object with serious shelf presence. The bright yellow core is cased in a layer of clear glass, creating a smooth, glossy surface and a striking pop of colour that’s almost neon in tone.

This one is most likely from the 1980's–1990's, as the pop art vibe aligns with decorative trends from that time — especially from studios producing novelty or sculptural glassware in Europe or North America. Has that slightly humorous edge typical of late 20th-century art glass.
