A tall, sculptural bottle in vivid blue with swirling white stripes, handblown as part of the rare Jussis Riihimäki collaboration in the mid-1980s. An unique piece with an elegant silhouette. Signed and numbered on the base.
This series was the result of a short-lived partnership between Jussis Keramik in Maarianhamina and Riihimäen Lasi, producing distinctive art glass bottles and vases in limited numbers. Highly collectible today, they represent a fascinating chapter in Finnish glassmaking history.

The Jussis Riihimäki series marks a rare experiment in cross-disciplinary Finnish design. When Jussis Keramik briefly expanded its production to Riihimäki in the 1980s, the result was a line of expressive glassworks that combined ceramic sensibilities with Riihimäki’s glass expertise. Today, these pieces stand out as unusual and highly collectible examples of Finnish art glass.
