A tiny piece of mid-century art ceramics with a lot of personality. This small dish from Arabia’s 'Tarina' series features a stylised bird motif scratched into a deep terracotta glaze. Modernist meets mythic.
Crafted by Arabia's art department in the 1950s, the Tarina series was part of a broader postwar movement toward decorative objects with character and craft. It reflected Arabia’s mid-century fascination with folklore, symbols, and playful minimalism. Often featuring birds, animals, or abstracted motifs, these tiny pieces are now cherished by collectors. They were made in small batches and are now increasingly hard to find.
Use it as a ring dish, a salt bowl, or just as a charming little piece on the shelf. It’s tiny, yes — but it holds its own.
