A rare vintage find with plenty of charm. This Arabia milk jug features the cheerful red polka dot decoration by Raija Uosikkinen, screen-printed on the classic R-model jug shape. The Ping Pong series was in production for only a few years in the late 1950s to mid-60s and has since become a collectible favourite among fans of Finnish mid-century ceramics.
This piece shows some internal glaze crazing and staining from use, but the exterior is clean and glossy, with the decoration still crisp and bright.
