A classic Kilta bowl set designed by Kaj Franck for Arabia - six deep blue bowls that basically capture the essence of Finnish modern tableware. Balanced, practical, and quietly confident - exactly as Franck intended.
The colour is a rich, inky blue with a soft sheen. We love the generous but restrained form, finished with small side lugs - a subtle detail that gives the bowls their unmistakable Kilta character.
Made for everyday use. Ideal for soup, breakfast, desserts, or small shared dishes. Stackable, sturdy, and endlessly useful - the kind of bowls that earn their place and keep it.

NOTE ON THE DESIGNER
Kaj Franck (1911–1989) was one of the defining figures of Finnish modern design. His Kilta series for Arabia, introduced in 1953, reimagined tableware as a modular system - minimal, functional, and democratic. The idea was simple but revolutionary: fewer pieces, used in more ways, without decorative excess. The result became one of the most influential design philosophies in the Nordic world.
