A simple and lovely lidded sugar bowl from the Domino tableware series by Arabia, Finland. Designed in the 1980s, this bowl features the Sininen keittiö ("Blue Kitchen") decoration—a traditional flower motif interpreted in fresh blue linework. Its round shape and clean proportions reflect the Domino series' focus on clarity and utility.
Designed by Kati Tuominen-Niittylä and Pekka Paikkari, with decoration by Raija Uosikkinen, the Domino series is a blend of modernist restraint and timeless domesticity. The Sininen keittiö version is especially beloved among collectors for its balance of everyday practicality and delicate design.
