A warm amber glass serving dish from Gösta Sigvard’s playful Gästa med Gösta series for Lindshammar Glasbruk. The oval form is divided into two square compartments framed by softly rounded edges. Made of thick amber art glass shaped in an open mould and finished by hand, it has that satisfying, weighty feel typical of Lindshammar’s studio-era production.
Designed in the 1960s-70s, the Gästa med Gösta series - a tongue-in-cheek Swedish pun meaning roughly “Feast with Gösta” or “Guests with Gösta” - included plates, dishes and serving trays in vivid glass tones. Sigvard’s designs captured the cheerful side of Swedish modern glass: practical, colorful, and built to last.
Perfect for serving fruit or snacks. The deep amber glass brings a warm glow to any setting.
